To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Desi Mandi, its affiliates, officers,directors, employees, contractors, suppliers, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect,incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss ofbusiness, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from delay, spoilage after risktransfer, website interruption, or use of the website or products purchased through it.
Without limiting the foregoing, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out ofor relating to any order, product, or use of the website shall not exceed the amount actuallypaid by you for the specific product or order giving rise to the claim, except where suchlimitation is prohibited by law.

GST/HST, Billing and Invoice Compliance Policy
1. Tax Application
Desi Mandi charges and collects Goods and Services Tax and Harmonized Sales Tax,including Ontario Harmonized Sales Tax where applicable, in accordance with therequirements of the Canada Revenue Agency and applicable tax legislation. Certaingrocery and food products may be zero-rated, exempt, or taxable depending on theirnature, packaging, intended use, and applicable tax law classification.
We reserve the right to determine and apply the appropriate tax treatment to products,delivery charges, service charges, deposits, and other amounts in accordance withapplicable law and our internal tax settings.
2. Price Display and Tax at Checkout
Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices shown on the website are displayed beforeapplicable taxes. Taxes will be calculated and shown during checkout and will also appearon the final order confirmation and invoice or receipt, where required.
3. Tax-Compliant Invoices
Desi Mandi will issue invoices or receipts containing the information required underapplicable law, which may include our legal business name, registered address, BusinessNumber and GST/HST account number, invoice or receipt date, unique transaction orinvoice number, description of goods, total consideration paid or payable, and the amountof tax charged, where applicable.

4. Input Tax Credit Use by Business Customers
Business customers who are registered for GST/HST may, where permitted by law, use ourtax invoices or receipts to support Input Tax Credit claims. It remains the responsibility ofeach customer to verify eligibility, maintain records, and comply with all applicable CanadaRevenue Agency requirements.
5. Billing Errors and Corrections
You must review your invoice or receipt promptly upon receipt. Any concern regardingbilling, tax, pricing, or invoice details should be reported to us within
7 days
of issuance.Where an error is confirmed, we may issue a corrected invoice, credit note, debit note,refund, or adjustment as appropriate.

Food Quality, Freshness and Safety Disclaimer
1. Quality Standards
We make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that products are handled, stored, andfulfilled in accordance with applicable food safety standards and ordinary retail practices.Fresh products, however, are natural goods and may vary in shape, size, colour, ripeness,aroma, packaging, and shelf life.
2. Inspection Upon Receipt
You are responsible for inspecting the order promptly upon delivery or pickup and forrefrigerating, freezing, or otherwise storing products appropriately without delay. This isparticularly important for perishable, refrigerated, frozen, and ready-to-eat items.
3. No Liability After Delivery or Pickup
Except where prohibited by law, we are not responsible for spoilage, contamination, ordeterioration that occurs after delivery or pickup due to delayed receipt, unattended drop-off, weather exposure, transportation by the customer, or improper storage or handling bythe customer or any third party.

We reserve the right to amend, update, supplement, or replace these policies at any timein order to reflect operational changes, legal or regulatory developments, websitefunctionality changes, or business needs.
